EMEA Oracle Cloud MSP Summit 2017

On behalf of Version 1, I attended the first Oracle EMEA Cloud MSP Summit in Frankfurt yesterday. It was a really useful summit for partners who are currently delivering Managed Services for their customers, and are part of the small cohort who have completed or are completing the strict certification for the Oracle MSP Programme. There were some great talks on the Oracle Corporate update and the Roadmap for Oracle IaaS and PaaS from Sanjay Sinha, Oracle Vice President of Platform Product. Phil Carter, Chief Analyst, IDC Europe, gave great insights and stories!! into how the cloud market was and will develop in the coming years, and an excellent session on the structure of the MSP program and it benefits for customers by Paul Thompson, Commercial Senior Director. We had some presentations from partners on their experience of bringing value to their customers through Oracle Cloud MSP. I was very pleased to present the huge strides that we at Version 1 have made with our own MSP customers in helping them leverage the power of Oracle Cloud. The day was capped for us by being presented with an award for being the first partner globally, to deliver the value of the Oracle MSP program directly for a customer.
