Version 1 named National Champion for European Business
The European Business Awards now in its 8th year engaged with over 24,000 business from 33 European countries this year and 709 companies from across Europe have been named today as National Champions.
The Awards are an independent programme, sponsored by RSM International, designed to recognise and promote excellence, best practice and innovation, connecting the best organisations in European business across borders, business size and sectors. The guiding principles of the Awards are Innovation, Ethics and Financial Success. These are the values which underpin the achievements of thriving businesses.
Version 1 have been nominated as a National Champion for “The Business of the Year Award” category to respresent Ireland on the European stage. This category recognises outstanding achievements for companies who demonstrate exceptional financial returns, strong growth & innovation strategies and market leadership.
Commenting on the nomination Version 1 CEO Justin Keatinge said; “We’re very proud to be selected to represent Ireland as a National Champion. The European Business Awards is widely recognised as the showcase for Europe’s most dynamic companies. Version 1 will now progress to stage two of the programme competing against the business elite of Europe. A panel of judges made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs will review the National Champions, and award the best of this group the coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ status.
