Challenges

Mapeley Estates’ existing JD Edwards infrastructure was ageing, with the organisation wanting to take advantage of the latest tools and integrate JD Edwards to work with the rest of their software. Mapeley Estates also wanted to modify their footprint and simplify business processes through JD Edwards optimisation and retirement of modifications.

Solution

Version 1 was selected by Mapeley Estates to upgrade their JD Edwards application to the latest release. Version 1 employed an Object Analyser to review modifications, alongside Impact Analysis to better target retrofit and testing. JD Edwards was integrated to work with software interfaces; Profit, Maximo, Create!Form, Transform and PTX.

Real Differences, Delivered

As a result, Mapeley Estates’ JD Edwards application is now fully supported on release 9.2, with the project completed under the specified budget. Minimal modifications were migrated, which gives Mapeley Estates a platform for future growth within their JD Edwards application.
