Our ESG agenda reflects the spirit of our people and is focused on six strategic pillars that are aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; environmental sustainability, diversity, inclusion and belonging, education and employability, community first, social impact and ethical behaviour.

Environmental sustainability

A sustainable approach runs across every part of our operations, from our own impact on the planet to helping our customers achieve their environmental goals too. We are on track to achieve net zero across our value chain by 2035, with our near-term targets validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). We drive our accreditations and are always improving our scores with partners like the Carbon Disclosure Project, where we are currently rated A-, Ecovadis and Corporate Balance.

Diversity, inclusion and belonging (DIB) 

We foster a culture of “bring your difference” to our workforce, a unique perspective that was inspired by our own people. Education and employability 

We know that inspiring people to explore the possibilities of technology and shape the future they want means its our responsibility to make a career in technology a real possibility. We engage with educational institutions and forge long-term partnerships that create those opportunities and provide the education and training for everyone, regardless of age, culture, identity, origins or background. Our global teams work in the local communities to infuse our passion for technology, reaching individuals from as early as primary school – to those already in the professional world who want to change career and make an impact.  

 

Community first 

Our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate has always been one of the driving forces that steers our agenda. We help local charities across the world with fundraising, sponsorship and volunteering initiatives, and work with them to facilitate real change which can sometimes be as simple as helping to provide homes, food and jobs.

Social impact 

The balance of people, planet and profit is something we have always been acutely aware of, and we understand the challenges this brings to our customers. For many customers, particularly those in UK public sector organisations, they are tasked with considering how the services they deliver are impacting the environmental, social and economic state of their communities and we can help them elevate their impact.

We take action to deliver the highest ethical standards across our own operations and our global value chain. It’s important to us that we lead the way as a trusted and transparent partner to all our stakeholders, helping to raise ethical standards through our responsible procurement approach. We use systems to monitor our suppliers against the cornerstones of people, profit and planet, ensuring we influence where improvement can be made and collaborate on joint initiatives. Our intent is to only engage with organisations who share our commitment to good ethical practices and values, and who meet our health and safety, human rights and environmental standards.
