Digital DNA 2020

November 10, 2020 - November 11, 2020

Virtual

Proud Sponsors of Digital DNA 2020

Version 1 was a proud sponsor of this year’s Digital DNA 2020 – Getting Back To The Future, a fully immersive virtual event, providing a valuable opportunity for everyone working in or interested in the tech sector to enjoy unique online experiences and to find out how technology is impacting our lives.

Digital DNA 2020 included main stage talks from global tech leaders to deep dive side sessions discussing some of the biggest topics in tech today and intimate roundtable discussions. The past 8 months have been challenging for all industries. Many have had to adapt new technologies at breakneck speeds and almost all of society has been exposed to new technologies. Before the Global Pandemic changed all our lives in March 2020, the tech sector was thriving and much of the talk was about the future technologies that had the ability to change the world.

The virtual event featured a range of expert speakers, the following are samples of topics that were discussed on the day:

  • Classic Digital DNA Talks
  • How has Covid-19 changed society?
  • How has Covid-19 impacted global reactions to global warming?
  • The Future of Cash – Are we heading towards a cashless society?
  • Human-like robots. Hollywood storyline or real world reality?
  • AI and the professions. Should we be worried?

Version 1’s Head of Delivery Lorna McAdoo, took part in a panel session on the day discussing diversity and inclusion within the technology sector.
